Crowdsource Your Meeting Agenda
As you organise your meeting, make sure you're including the voices that need to be heard.
Having an agenda for your meetings is part of Meeting Hygiene 101, isn’t it?
But let’s take a mental step back for a minute. Are we always assuming that the person who organises the meeting should also be the one to write the agenda?
All meetings should be (hopefully!) productive conversations, and whoever sets the agenda sets the topics and tone and outcomes of those conversations.
Sometimes in our efforts to make meetings efficient and productive, we end up muffling some voices in conversations that need to be heard.
So, sometimes it’s a good idea to crowdsource your agenda instead. Sure, start with a draft, but help everyone who’s going to be at the meeting to have a say about what’s going to be talked about.
You’ll be impressed by how this can raise engagement levels.
